Middle school students are faced with many new situations, decisions and changes. They are changing physically, have a growing need to understand the world around them, and are trying to develop their own self identity. Middle school presents new opportunities, new pressures, and new temptations. Counselors can assist students with making good choices, thinking through critical decisions, and learning about who they are as they transition to adulthood.
